MI Trains Members Photo Exchange adds 50 more - up to 540 photos

Dodie.com has added more photos to its FTP Download section through the Member Photo Exchange. To download these photos Click Here and select the photos you like. These photos can be used in the MI Trains Application, the MI Trains Photo Viewer or any other software that supports .bmp or .jpg files.

Roger Johnson contributed a large portion of this Seventeenth Group of images, now available for you to download into your MI Trains System.

With this latest addition of 50 photos, we are up to Five Hundred Forty posted to the Dodie and MI Trains website, and when coupled with the 160+ on the MI Trains CD-ROM, we are over

700 pre-loaded photos!


This Seventeenth Group has Lionel Post War and Modern, and a few MTH. As is true with the prior photo postings, the Lionel and MTH photos link directly into the MI Trains June 2001 update release.

If you are interested, Click Here and follow the following simple menu path in using the multi-column Photo Table.

The left column - Road Name/Description    - is a brief description of the photo.

The right column - Model Number/File Name    - is the file name for the photo.



So, if you want (as an example) Rogers     Reading 9332 Crane Car - Yellow Cab/Green Base, click on the model number/file name for the photo - 9332.bmp



Or how about the Operating GM Generator Car, click on the model number/file name for the photo - 3530.bmp



Or maybe the     Baltimore & Ohio C1676 Woodsided Caboose,     lights your fire. Click on the model number/file name - MTH30-7723b&o.bmp

1.   Click on the file name for the photo -    MTH30-7723b&o.bmp
2.   A pop-up window appears.
3.   Click on    Save this file to disk
4.   Click the    OK   button.
5.   A second pop-up window appears, asking where you want to save the photo. Use the buttons at the top of the window to direct the path to c:\program files\mitrains\images. This is the default directory for the Images within MI Trains. If you changed your default directory when you originally installed MI Trains you need to enter that path in this text box.
6.   Click the    Save    button.
Based upon the speed of your modem, the download may take some seconds or as much as a minute.
